Vietnam Swans v Jakarta Bintangs

Don't mess with an angry swan in full flight.

A large Swan, a small Swan, a signet and a punt.

The "Catching Dragonflies" stance perfected by both Bintangs & Swans

Something most have never witnessed, a Swan on the run.

On a humid Saturday afternoon the Vietnam Swans went to war with the ferocious, volatile and possibly slightly mad Jakarta Bintangs. Maybe it's pollution that causes this disturbing phenomenon because the Swans unleashed their own brand of "Shock & Awe" under the leaden skies of Saigon in what was a hard fought low scoring rugged AFL match.

Two teams of unrivaled athleticism, bodies carved from solid rock went head to head in the Kainey Cup. Warriors clashed and brave souls were felled and in the end the Swans came out on top and enjoyed the accolades accorded to a worthy victor - beer, bourbon and babes.

The Bintangs fled Vietnam shortly after their trouncing but I am sure will re group and look ahead to next year's Kainey Cup.
