Ta Prohm is the classic "tomb raider" temple. If you can be there when the thousands of visitors have scrammed back to town for a fruit shake and a foot massage then the place is truly magic.Trees climbing all over the walls and throttling the door ways as if they were slowly crushing the life out of the place.
The Bayon with it's 54 faces said to be of Jayavarman VII the creator of the temple is like an adventure playground for photographers. Everywhere there is a face peering back at you. Multi levelled, it's a maze of stone slotted with grottoes containing altars and incense smoke curling out of dark recesses.
