Ben Tre, Mekong Delta

Ben Tre is the jumping off point for most people visiting the Mekong Delta. People come to visit the fruit orchards and try unique fruits from the Delta region. It's also the main area for Coconut Candy.

We had lunch at beautiful old house but don't ask me where, how old or what it was called, I'll get back to you on that. Lunch consisted of the local Elephant Ear fish which looks like a piranha on steroids but tastes fantastic served in rice paper with star fruit, local onion and Vietnamese mint.
