The Warm Up
Football in Australia is a winter sport, football in Asia is played in a variety of conditions depending on which country is hosting the matches. In this instance, being in South Vietnam the temperature was in the mid 30's celsius which makes for tough conditions to be running, tackling and kicking. Though the oval itself is quite small for a football ground the surface was baked rock solid.
