On a relatively cool morning we chugged our way through the floating market outside of Can Tho in the Mekong Delta in Southern Vietnam. Over the years the market has shrunk in size as more produce is shipped by truck along the highways and across the bridges that now link the jigsaw puzzle that is Cuu Long, The Nine Headed Dragon.
Firstly we travelled all the way to Chau Doc tucked up close to the Vietnam Cambodian border, one of my favourite Mekong Delta towns. It's a interesting mix of Viet/Khmer culture where Buddhist share the region with Christians and Muslims.
