Clipper Boats Departing Danang
12 boats, 40,000 kms around the world. Crewed mainly by paying amateurs sailing from the tropics to the treacherous Southern Ocean. They departed Danang on a cool blustery day but where they are headed is predicted to be minus 10 off Northern China.
The locals came out see what it was all about and as this is the first time ever that Vietnam has played host to this kind of fleet or is all new and exciting.
